Jessie Burkhardt earned a B.S. in Marketing from Penn State University in 2001. Fueled by her passion for fashion and beauty, she worked for 4 years as an Assistant Buyer for a department store chain, working in Intimates, Ready-to-Wear, and Costume Jewelry. She moved to Philadelphia in 2005 and immediately began working at NSI. She started as Rick Slack’s assistant, but quickly showed her enthusiasm for marketing, advertising, new product development, and brand management. Within 6 months she was working in the newly created position of Sales/Marketing Coordinator where she organizes the company’s advertising and marketing efforts. In her free time, Jessie works with her husband Chris on home improvement projects for their 100 year old row house. They share their home with their adored Yorkie-Poo, Percy.
