NSI Scandinavian Tour

NSI Distributors Work Together to Bring Education to Local Technicians

Stockholm, Sweden (1/25/08) – At the latest NSI Global Conference held in Belgium last May, three distributors, Nail Systems of Sweden, NSI Norway, and Nail Station of Finland, developed the idea of the first NSI Scandinavian Tour.  The tour began on October 27th, 2007 in Stockholm, where Nail Systems of Sweden, owned and operated by Reni Mobrandt, hosted “Going for Gold”, an event designed to enhance nail competition skills.

Denise Wright, NSI Educator and world-wide competition winner, was invited to provide the participants with demonstrations and techniques on how to create the most beautiful salon and competition nails. Mobrandt chose Wright because of “her unique combination of knowledge and experience. Denise can do the most beautiful nails and also explain how to get there in a way that nail technicians can understand.”

The “Going for Gold” seminar was followed by an NSI Nail Competition the next day. There were 6 participants and the winner was a competition team member of Nail Station in Finland.

While the nail competition was taking place in Sweden, Denise Wright and Christel De Cock, NSI European Sales Manager, continued the NSI Scandinavian Tour and participated in an open workshop for nail technicians in Oslo, Norway, hosted by NSI Norway. Denise Wright demonstrated both the NSI Balance UV Gel System and Attraction Acrylic System.  This event ended with hands-on training under the guidance of Wright and Margrethe Reiten, co-owner of NSI Norway.
