NSInail systems international

• Contest is open to all professional nail technicians and students with original nail art that has not been used in a previous online or offline competition.
• All entries must be submitted as digital photographs in their original format. (Do not compress the image.) Image should be a minimum of 800 pixels and 300 dpi.
• Maximum of five entries per person.
• Touchup permitted using any commercially available graphics program.
• By submitting your nail art, you are giving NSI the approval to use your design(s) for their online nail art gallery. The winner’s nail art will be featured on the NSI homepage with a step-by-step demo.
• NSI is not responsible for entry materials that are lost in transmission.
• Images become the property of NSI.
• Online entry forms and corresponding images must be received by April 30th, 2010.
• 10 finalists will be determined by NSI and the winner will be chosen by our panel of esteemed judges.

REQUIRED

1. Completed online entry form.
2. Foundation of the nail art design must be made with NSI acrylic or gel products. Add-ons such as glitter, stones, paint, etc. that are not made by NSI are fine to include.
3. Step-by-step detailing products used.
4. Close-up image of the nail art design.
5. Headshot of entrant submitted as digital photograph in its original format. (Do not compress the image.)
6. Nail art images and headshot must be sent via e-mail to nailartcomp@nsinails.com.

Nail art images will be marked on:

• First impression and “wow” factor.
• Difficulty of design.
• Overall enhancement design.
• Use of color.
• Originality.

10 finalists will be chosen by an internal team at NSI.
A winner will be chosen from the 10 finalists by the following panel:

	As a nail technician she has wowed the industry with her championship nails. As a cover artist and author her work has been published more than any other nail tech in the history of nails. As an educator she has coached nail techs from Italy, Russia, Holland, Germany, China, Japan, Africa, UK, Sweden, Trinidad, Croatia, Greece, Australia and the United States. As an industry leader she has been a mentor to thousands. A world master nail technician, Vicki will pioneer the industry to new levels.
	As a nail competitor in the UK, Kirsty has 25 trophies in total. (Categories include free hand, fantasy, show case, fancy French, encapsulation & photographic.) Among her trophies, she’s won National Nail Competition Technician of the Year and UK Nail Artist of the Year. Kirsty embarked on her international competition dreams by winning the hand painted category at IBS in Las Vegas.
	Debbie Doerrlamm has been a Nail Specialist residing in NY since 1990 and VA since 2009, carrying a full book for almost 15 years. No longer doing nails full time, Debbie is now the webmaster of www.beautytech.com and many other web sites both in and out of the beauty industry. She has run the popular Strut Your Stuff Nail Art & Enhancement Competition online for the past 9 years.
